70 Miles!

Today's short run was the last of August and brought me over 70 miles for the month. Not much to many, but compared to how much I ran the rest of the year, this is huge. More than June and July combined! And I feel amazing and am completely in love with running again.

It drives me nuts that I couldn't get July's miles under the month.

We'll see if I'm still riding this high after Monday's 18 miler...


  1. So fun. I've been so inspired since moving to Maine to get back into running (haven't really done any serious running since cross-country in high school and college) but mainers are SO into it. good on you

  2. I'm surrounded by friends who run some bad a$$ miles every week. I'm not really a high mileage girl, but still manage to have successful marathons! So, it's all good!

  3. Sometimes we just need to get away from it for a while, recharge our batteries and love for running, then get back to it :-)
