Track Tuesday

It was the coldest outdoor run of the season for me, thus far. A chilly 18 degrees had me wearing three layers - my long sleeve YMX, long sleeve Champion shirt, and because I didn't want to go back upstairs and disturb the sleepers to fetch my Brooks vest, I wore my L.L. Bean vest. I knew this vest would make me too warm, but it actually worked out for the workout I was about to do.

The moon was just a sliver, but you could still see the full circle. That, with the silhouette of the trees against an growing orange sky, was really pretty. Pretty enough for a picture, but I didn't have my camera. Of course.

Today's run -
1 mile warmup
4 x 1200 @ 5:30 w/ 400m RI
1 mile cooldown

My paces -
#1 - 5:33
#2 - 5:33
#3 - 5:33
#4 - 5:33

I'd say I am consistent!

I was definitely warm on the running portions and had to pull up my sleeves, but was sure thankful for my vest to keep me warm during the rest intervals!

If I don't get another post in before Thursday, have a happy Thanksgiving!
